Compensation Guide

Paul Finn Solicitor’s goal is to ensure you receive the maximum compensation for your accident or injury within the minimum amount of time.

Compensation for accident and injury claims is awarded in the form of Monetary Damages.  There are two main categories of compensation; Compensation for an Injury and Compensation for Financial Losses.

Compensation for your Injury – This is compensation for the pain and suffering caused by the accident or injury.  The amount of compensation for injury is entirely based on the amount of pain or suffering.  An example of this type of compensation would be for back pain over a 1 year period caused by a fall at work.

Compensation for Financial Losses – This is compensation for any financial loss you have or will suffer from the accident or injury, for example if you are unable to work for 6 months because of the accident, medical bills such as home nursing care or physiotherapy.  These losses will depend on each individual claim, we can guide you on the losses that you will be able to recover.
